What if my site is hosted outside the UK?

No problem. I work with WordPress sites on all major hosting platforms worldwide, including AWS, Digital Ocean, WP Engine, Kinsta, SiteGround, and many others. Location doesn’t affect my ability to help.

Do you need access to my hosting account?

In most cases, I’ll need:

  • WordPress admin access
  • FTP/SFTP credentials
  • Database access (phpMyAdmin or similar)

Sometimes hosting control panel access helps, but it’s not always necessary. I’ll request only the minimum access required to resolve your issue.

How long does emergency support typically take?

Most emergency issues are resolved within 1-3 hours. However, complex problems like extensive malware cleanup or database corruption can take longer. I’ll give you a realistic time estimate after initial assessment.

What if you can't fix the problem?

If I genuinely cannot resolve your issue (which is rare), you won’t be charged for the work – only the £25 callout fee if I’ve already invested time in diagnosis. However, in 14+ years, I’ve had a 99.9% success rate with emergency WordPress issues.

Can you help if my site is completely down and I can't access anything?

Yes. Many emergency fixes require working directly with files and database, which I can access through FTP and hosting control panels even when the site front-end is completely down.
